Named competitors, dated euro prices

€25 a month, next to what the euro market charges.

€25 a month is the promotional price, open to new subscriptions started on or before 30 September 2026, and €50 a month after that. The French incumbents are the largest euro-priced sellers of this exact service, and most of them will not tell you the number until they have your phone number. So here they are by name, with their advertised prices, their creation fees and the commitment periods that come with them, each linked to its own pricing page. A euro price is a euro price: if you are in Dublin, Rotterdam, Lisbon or Valletta, these are still the figures to hold an offer against, and mine is the same €25 wherever in the euro area you trade. Where one of them beats me, that is in the table too.

method

How this table was made.

Prices as advertised in August 2026. Every figure comes from the company's own public pricing page, linked in the table. Nothing here is taken from a review site or a comparison blog.

HT and TTC are both shown where it matters. French agencies quote HT, meaning VAT excluded, which makes their prices look about a fifth lower than the sum leaving your account. At ProWebLocal the €25 is the figure that leaves your account at my checkout, because I add nothing to it. Section 7 of the terms has it in full.

Creation fees and commitment periods sit next to the monthly price, because in this market those are the numbers that decide what you actually spend and how easily you can stop.

Entry tier, for the plan a single-site business would really buy. Prices move. If you find one that has changed, write to [email protected] and I will correct this page.

done for you

Euro services where somebody else builds it.

Sorted by headline monthly price, lowest first, which is not the order that flatters me most on the first line.

Service Advertised price Creation fee Commitment What you are buying
Restaurant-internet €19 to €39 / month None advertised None advertised A restaurant platform you fill in yourself; the €39 tier adds commission-free online ordering.
ProWebLocal €25 / monthpromotional price, start on or before 30 Sep 2026; €50 after 12 months €0 None, cancel free One person builds the site and keeps it current all year. Hosting and web address included.
Fresto €25 / monthnothing added at checkout €195 None advertised Restaurant sites with QR menu and Google reviews. They will fill it in for you from your flyer.

do it yourself

And the builders that are genuinely cheaper.

These beat me on price, and I am not going to pretend otherwise. What they sell is software; the building, the writing, the photos and every future change are yours to do. If that suits you, they are the right answer and you should take it.

Builder Advertised price Creation fee Who does the work
UGAL €19 HT / month€39 HT for the business tier €0 You, in their editor, every time anything changes
Wix €10 to €30 / month €0 You, every time anything changes
Squarespace €10 to €30 / month €0 You, every time anything changes
ProWebLocal €25 / monthpromotional price, start on or before 30 Sep 2026 €0 Me. You send a photo of the new menu and stop thinking about it.

The honest way to read that table: a DIY plan is cheaper in euros and more expensive in evenings. The reason most small business sites go stale is not that the software was hard, it is that nobody had a spare hour in March to change the hours.

year one

What the first twelve months actually cost.

Monthly prices hide creation fees, so here is each service multiplied out over a year with the fee added where there is one. HT figures are marked, because a French agency's HT price is not what leaves your account.

Service First 12 months How that is made up
ProWebLocal, yearly plan €250 One payment, all included, ten months' price for twelve months of site
Restaurant-internet, entry tier €228 12 × €19, self-serve
UGAL, showcase tier €228 HT 12 × €19 HT, plus your own hours
ProWebLocal, monthly plan €300 12 × €25, no creation fee, nothing added at my checkout
Fresto €495 TTC €195 creation fee + 12 × €25
Webab, one-page pack €559 HT €199 HT + 12 × €29,99 HT
Simplébo €600 HT and up 12 × €50 HT at the low end of the quoted band, plus a creation fee
Solocal €768 and up 12 × €64, on a term of up to 24 months
WebGazelle €1 199 HT 12 × €99,90 HT, and you are 12 months into a 24-month term

Among the done-for-you services here, from €250 to nearly €1 200 in the first year, and that is before the lock-in on the two most expensive rows runs its course. The full ProWebLocal price list, including what happens in year two.

the hidden number

The euro market's real price is not the monthly figure,

it is the length of the contract.

WebGazelle's 24 months at 99,90 euros HT is 2 397,60 euros HT committed on the day you sign. Solocal's 24 months at the entry price is 1 536 euros. Simplébo's twelve months renew automatically unless you give 90 days' written notice, so one missed letter costs another year. None of that is hidden, exactly; it is simply on a different page from the one with the price on it. Here there is no term, no notice period and no exit fee: you stop when you want, and the site stays online to the end of the period you have already paid for.

the fair reading

Where the others win.

A comparison table that finds its own author cheapest on every line is an advertisement. Here are the three cases where you should buy from somebody else.

You want to do it yourself

Then UGAL at 19 euros HT, or Wix and Squarespace at 10 to 30 euros, beat me outright and no amount of table design changes that. The question is not whether you can. It is whether you will still be doing it in eighteen months, at eleven at night, when the winter hours change.

You live on online orders

Restaurant-internet's 39 euro tier takes unlimited orders without commission, which for a pizzeria is worth far more than the difference in subscription. I do not do online ordering in the plan, and a phone that rings is not a substitute when half your covers arrive by app.

You want an agency with a switchboard

Simplébo and Solocal are established French companies with sales representatives, support lines and contracts your accountant has seen before. At roughly twice the price, that reassurance is what you are buying, and for some businesses it is a reasonable thing to pay for.

the obvious question

If the French agencies all charge more,

something must be missing. It isn't.

It is not a discount and it is not a smaller job. What is missing is the overhead: no sales floor, no account managers, no call centre, no 24-month contract to justify a commission. One person with modern tooling, hosting matched by renewable energy purchases, and a preference for a long relationship at a fair monthly price over one large invoice and a site nobody opens again. Eleven finished sites are on the homepage, and you can open every one of them on your phone right now.

questions

About this comparison.

Including the one where I have to admit somebody else is cheaper.

Is 25 euros the cheapest done-for-you website in the euro market?

Among services where a person builds your site and then keeps it current for you, 25 euros a month all in, with no creation fee, is the lowest I have found. Two are close and one is lower on the headline: Fresto matches the monthly figure but adds 195 euros up front, and Restaurant-internet advertises 19 euros a month for a self-serve restaurant platform where you fill the site in yourself. Both are in the tables above with their real terms.

Why do French agency prices look lower than they really are?

Because they are quoted HT, meaning VAT excluded. WebGazelle's 99,90 euros HT is 119,88 euros actually leaving the account each month at the current French rate, and Simplébo's 50 euros HT is 60 euros. If your business reclaims VAT, HT is the fair number to compare. If it does not, the TTC figure is what you feel. At ProWebLocal the 25 euros is the figure that leaves your account at my checkout, because I add nothing to it. Section 7 of the terms explains it.

What does a 24-month commitment actually cost?

It is the number nobody puts in the headline. WebGazelle at 99,90 euros HT a month over its 24-month term is 2 397,60 euros HT before you are free to leave. Solocal at 64 euros a month over 24 months is 1 536 euros. Simplébo's term is 12 months with 90 days' written notice, so missing the notice window rolls you into another year. Here there is no term and no notice: you stop when you want, and the site stays online to the end of the period already paid for.

How current are these prices?

Every figure is the price the company advertised publicly in August 2026, taken from its own pricing page, which is linked in each row so you can check it yourself. Simplébo quotes rather than publishes, so its band is what its published material and resellers describe. Prices move and promotions come and go, so treat this as a dated snapshot. If a figure has changed, write to me and I will correct the page.

Where is a competitor genuinely the better buy?

If you want to build and update the site yourself, UGAL at 19 euros HT a month or an international builder at 10 to 30 euros beats anything done for you, and you should take it. If you run a pizzeria that lives on online orders, Restaurant-internet at 39 euros a month is built around taking those orders without commission and I am not. And if you want a French agency with a support switchboard, a sales representative and a contract your bank recognises, Simplébo and Solocal are exactly that, at roughly twice the price.

Compare mine against theirs, for free.

The table is only half the argument. Send me a photo of your menu or your price list and within 48 hours you get a link to your own finished site, built the way it would really be, to hold up against any quote you are weighing. No card details, no commitment.
