Payments
Payments are made through Stripe, which acts as merchant of record: Stripe charges the card, collects and remits GST, HST and QST where they apply, handles payment disputes and issues the receipt. No card details pass through this site or are stored by us.
Privacy
This notice says what personal information we collect, why, who sees it and how to reach us about it. The person in charge of the protection of personal information is the owner, Alexandru Mahmoud, at [email protected] and the postal address above.
What we collect and why
- The mockup form. Business name, email address, phone number, opening hours and prices, and optionally a logo and a menu or price list. Used to answer you and to build your free mockup, and for nothing else. The form emails the details to us and keeps a short record (business name, email, phone, language, status) so we know who is waiting. Uploaded files are emailed to us and not stored on the site. Providing the information is your choice; without an email address or phone number we cannot reply.
- The subscription. Your name, business name, email address and the content of your site, which we need to build and run it. Card details go to Stripe and never to us.
- Business outreach. We contact businesses by phone and email to offer them a website. What we hold is business contact details: business name, address, phone number and a general email address, taken from public sources including the OpenStreetMap database and what the business publishes itself. Email is sent only to addresses a business has published conspicuously, without a statement that it does not want unsolicited messages, and only about a service relevant to that business.
Who receives it, and where
Cloudflare (hosts these pages and stores the form record), Stripe (payment, receipt and subscription record, and its own fraud checks as an independent controller), and Google (carries our email and serves the typefaces on these pages). We are in France and all three providers are in the United States, so your information is stored and processed outside Canada and outside Quebec, under the laws of those places. We do not sell, rent, trade or share your details with anyone else.
How long we keep it
Form records for three years from our last contact if you do not become a client; for the length of the subscription plus the retention period French accounting law requires if you do. Outreach details for at most three years from the last contact. If you ask not to be contacted again, your email address alone is kept on a suppression list for as long as needed to honour that request, with nothing else attached to it.
Your rights
Write to [email protected] to see, correct or delete what we hold about you, to withdraw consent, or to stop outreach. The unsubscribe page stops outreach in one step. Requests are answered within 30 days, and unsubscribe requests are honoured within 10 business days. Every marketing email carries our name, mailing address and a working unsubscribe link. If you are not satisfied with our answer, you may complain to the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada or, in Quebec, to the Commission d’accès à l’information.
Cookies and tracking
We set no cookies of our own and use no analytics, tag manager, advertising pixel or session recording. Cloudflare may set a strictly necessary cookie for bot protection, which we do not read. The typefaces are loaded from Google Fonts, so Google sees your browser’s IP address when a page loads; no cookie comes with that request. Nothing on this site identifies, locates or profiles you.
Changes to this notice
The effective date at the top moves when the text changes. If a change affects how your information is used, we email subscribers before it applies.
Prices and advertising claims
The prices on this site are promotional prices for subscriptions started on or before 30 September 2026, shown with the planned standard price and the period the promotional price is kept. They are not reductions from a price anyone was charged before. Where a page says what this kind of work costs elsewhere, the figure is a range for a type of supplier, taken from prices those suppliers publish, dated in the sentence that makes the claim, and not a quote anyone is bound by. If a figure looks wrong, tell us and we correct or remove it.
Intellectual property
The content of this site is protected by copyright. The businesses shown in the examples are invented for demonstration; the sites themselves are real and we built every one.
Disputes
Write to [email protected] first. If that does not settle it, section 13 of the terms applies: French law, the courts of Nantes, and the small claims court where the other party is located.
