Paying yearly does not lock you in. Cancel whenever you like and the site stays online to the end of the year you have paid for. The reason to take it is the two free months. Figures are before GST/HST; the promotional price is for subscriptions started on or before 30 September 2026.

A booking system, an ordering platform, a member area or an internal tool your staff use is a real project with real hours in it. A small, well-defined build is usually CA$1,500 to CA$4,500, scoped in writing and quoted at a fixed price before any work starts. How custom projects are scoped and priced.
The price is low because of how this is sold, not because it is a smaller job.
This is a subscription meant to run for years rather than one invoice at launch, and paying for a site over years is what puts a properly built one within reach of a bakery or a plumber. Nothing is trimmed off the site to get there.
Nobody asks you for a setup fee, a minimum term or a notice period, and the price is on this page in public, with what it becomes afterwards. You talk to the people who build your site, not an account manager or a support queue, which is the thing agencies charge more for and still cannot hand you.
Your customers will tell you what is missing. Three people a week ask whether you do gluten free, or where to park, or if you are open on the holiday Monday. Send that to us and it is on the site, usually the same day. A site built once cannot do that, and it is the whole reason this is a monthly plan.
The price is the same in every province.
Whether the shop is in Halifax, Winnipeg or Kelowna, the price is CA$40 a month and the work is the same. The only line that changes at checkout is the tax: GST, HST or QST at the rate your province sets, worked out by Stripe and shown before you confirm. Everything happens by phone, text and email, and the site is built the same way wherever you are.
The awkward questions about price.
Is there really no setup fee?
There is no setup fee, no onboarding fee and no build fee. The first charge you ever see is the first month, and it comes after your site is built, after you have opened it on your own phone, and after you have said yes. The money that has to be found before a site exists is what stops most small businesses from ever getting one, and there is none of it here.
What happens after the first 12 months?
The monthly plan goes from CA$40 to CA$80 a month at month 13, and the yearly plan goes from CA$400 to CA$800 a year after two years. That is the planned price, and nothing else changes: same site, same unlimited changes, same hosting. If it stops being worth it to you at that point, cancelling still costs nothing.
What does cancelling cost?
Nothing, at any point, and there is no notice period and no reason required. Cancel from the Stripe customer portal, the link is in every receipt, or by one email. On the monthly plan the site stays online for the month you have already paid for; on the yearly plan it stays online to the end of that year. Then it comes down. Your own material stays yours, and your web address is transferred to you at no charge.
What if I pay and then change my mind?
Cancel, the same way and at no cost. The site stays online to the end of the month or the year you have paid for, then comes down, and there is nothing further to pay. Periods already started are not refunded, which is why we build the mockup first: you decide with the finished site on your own phone, not on a promise. That is section 6 of the terms.
Do I own the website?
Your own material is yours and always was: the text, the photos, the logo, the menu, the business name. The built site, meaning the design, code and files, stays with ProWebLocal while the plan runs. Your web address is yours: we register and manage it on your behalf, and when the plan ends, for any reason, we transfer it at no charge to a registrar account you name. That is section 7 of the terms.
Is GST or HST added on top?
Yes, where it applies. Prices are before GST, HST or QST. Stripe, which takes the payment, works out the tax for your province at checkout and shows it as a separate line before you confirm, so you always see the total before you pay. Everything else on this page is the whole cost: no per-change fee, no per-order fee, no hosting bill, no domain renewal to remember.
Do I pay more if my prices change every week?
No. Changes are unlimited and there is no per-change fee, because the changes are the actual product. Send a new menu, a holiday closure or a price rise by email, text message or WhatsApp, and a photo of a scribbled sheet is enough. Most changes go live the same day and within a week at the latest. It is not only prices. When the same question comes in three times in a week, whether you take cards, whether you deliver, whether there is step-free access, send it over too and the site answers it from then on, which is the part a site built once and handed over cannot do.
Are there per-order or per-booking fees?
There are none, because there is no online ordering in the plan. The subscription is the whole bill, whether the site brings you two inquiries in a quiet week or fifty in a busy one. If you genuinely need online booking or ordering, that is a separate project with its own quote.
Is the price the same whatever kind of business I run?
Yes. A bakery, a plumber, a hair salon and a bed and breakfast all pay the same price, because the work is the same: get the prices, the hours, the photos and the phone number right, and keep them right. What differs is how the site looks and what it has to say, not what it costs.
